3. No Verification or Certification

HalalBuzz does not verify, certify, or guarantee the halal status of any restaurant, food truck, or establishment listed on this platform. All information displayed is user-generated and crowdsourced. Specifically:

• Listings are based on community submissions, not independent verification.
• Attributes such as "Zabiha Halal" or "Displays Certificate" are user-reported and may not reflect the current status of an establishment.
• Restaurant practices, menus, and halal status may change at any time without notice to HalalBuzz.
• Users are solely responsible for confirming halal status and other dietary information directly with the restaurant before making dietary decisions.

4. User-Generated Content

Content submitted through the restaurant suggestion form or attribute voting system is user-generated. By submitting content to HalalBuzz, you:

• Grant HalalBuzz a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify your submissions for the purpose of operating the platform.
• Acknowledge that submissions are reviewed before publication, but such review does not constitute verification of accuracy.
• Agree not to submit content that is knowingly false, misleading, or malicious.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of HalalBuzz, you agree to:

• Submit accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
• Not submit misleading, false, or fraudulent data.
• Independently verify restaurant information, including halal status, before making dietary decisions.
• Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HalalBuzz and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Reliance on information displayed on the platform, including halal status, restaurant details, or user-submitted attributes.
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in user-generated content.
• Any actions taken based on information found on HalalBuzz.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Section 230 Notice

HalalBuzz operates as a platform for user-generated content. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, HalalBuzz is not considered the publisher or speaker of third-party content shared on this platform. We provide tools for users to share information and do not adopt user submissions as our own statements.
